ABT SE with new limited special edition ABT RS6-LE

Kempten, 04 May 2023 – The ABT Group, a leading internationally positioned technology-driven automotive company in the fields of eMobility and refinement with a strong brand, presents its new special edition with the ABT RS6 Legacy Edition (LE). The high-performance sports car with exclusive design is limited to 200 units. The RS6-LE thus joins a series of first-class, limited ABT special editions which have been launched on the market in recent years. The appeal of the special editions has regularly led to the limited number of units selling out within a very short time during the past years.

The engine was equipped with an eight-cylinder power unit, which not only ensures reduced consumption, but above all a better distribution of axle loads.

The ABT RS6 Legacy Edition also features many digital components as part of the growth strategy. For example, the special edition is compatible with the "myABT" APP, which provides insights into the vehicle's performance data, such as power. Elements such as coolant and intake air temperature can be visually "experienced" in the MMI via Apple CarPlay. Here, additional functions such as the driving modes (e. g. ECO, SPORT or RACE) can be controlled as needed.

One of the aerodynamic highlights is the ABT carbon bonnet insert integrated into the bonnet of the ABT RS6-LE, which, in addition to visual aspects, provides improved heat dissipation for the performance-enhanced V8 bi-turbo engine. In addition, the special edition is characterised by a premium design.

Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of ABT SE: "The refinement business is our second strong pillar alongside e-mobility. As the largest refiner in the VW Group, we are delighted to once again launch an exclusive, limited special edition on the market with the RS6 Legacy Edition."
